Ship carrying liquefied natural gas for Ukraine arrives at LNG terminal in Poland

A ship carrying U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) for Ukraine has arrived at the Świnoujście, Poland LNG landing terminal in the Baltic Sea.

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine wrote this on Twitter.

“U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) is coming to Ukraine! Another step in helping Ukraine achieve energy independence, a ship carrying the LNG destined for Ukraine arrived yesterday at the Świnoujście, Poland LNG landing terminal in the Baltic Sea,” reads a report.

As Ukrinform reported, on August 31, 2019, Ukraine, Poland and the United States signed a memorandum of cooperation in the energy sector. The trilateral agreement envisages supplies of the U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Ukraine through Poland, using Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities and updating the natural gas infrastructure.
