ESCO contracts worth UAH 500 mln concluded in Ukraine - Serhiy Savchuk

As of November 2019, 370 energy service company (ESCO) contracts worth UAH 500 million were signed in Ukraine.

Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, Serhiy Savchuk, stated this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"We have 370 ESCO contracts, which have reduced the consumption of energy resources and generate cash flow. The total cost of these contracts is more than UAH 500 million, 55% of which have been concluded this year," said Savchuk.

According to him, 33 companies are currently operating on the market.

The ESCO is a business entity providing a broad range of energy solutions in full or partially at the expense of its own, borrowed or attracted funds and ensuring guaranteed savings in fuel-energy resources and water during the implementation of energy saving measures.
