PrivatBank to help government in creating ‘state in smartphone’

The Ministry of Digital Transformation and PrivatBank have signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop the concept of “a state in a smartphone”.

PrivatBank CEO Peter Krumhansl stated this in an interview with NV Business.

"I met with Mr. [Danylo] Hetmantsev, chairman of the parliamentary committee on financial, tax and customs policy issues. We discussed the work of the committee. I also met with Mykhailo Fedorov, minister of digital transformation. Recently we signed a memorandum of cooperation between the bank and the ministry. We want to offer our expertise and experience in developing Privat24 for “a state in a smartphone.” These are digital driver’s licenses, student IDs, etc.,” said Krumhansl.

He also added that many politicians like to talk about PrivatBank, many have an opinion, but very few try to find out what is the real situation in the bank.
