Government aims to make Ukrainian land market transparent by the end of 2020

The Ukrainian government plans to make the land market transparent by the end of 2020, according to a new government’s action program.

The new government’s action program has been published on the Verkhovna Rada’s website.

"100% of land information will be included into the State Land Cadaster by the end of 2020, which will make the land market efficient and transparent for citizens and businesses," reads the document.

The document states that the government will deregulate land management, smooth land taxes, introduce rules to prevent land raiding, as well as a modern Spatial Data Infrastructure.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Government's Action Program and registered it in Parliament on September 29.

Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk stated he hoped that MPs would support the program this week.
