PM Honcharuk invites Finnish business to invest in Ukraine

Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk and President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinisto discussed the investment climate in Ukraine, as well as the exchange of experience on reforms, in particular in the education sector.

Honcharuk met with Niinisto on Friday as part of his official visit to Ukraine, according to the Government portal.

“Ukraine is facing a number of major challenges at once, in particular to improve the investment climate. We have updated public-private partnership tools as we are interested in attracting investments in large infrastructure projects. We invite business of Finland to join us,” Honcharuk said.

Among the topics were also the importance of development of international transport routes, including river and port logistics and infrastructure.

“Our young Government is working to achieve long term goals with a favorable business climate, quality infrastructure, energy efficiency and education being the top priorities. We are striving to create a future in which our citizens are happy,” the prime minister stressed.
