"In January-August 2019, Ukraine pumped 9.6 billion cubic meters of gas into its underground gas storage facilities, an increase of 33% compared to the same period in 2018. The extraction from underground storages was 5.1 billion cubic meters of gas, a decrease of 29%," the report says.

As of September 1, 2019, Ukraine accumulated 18.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas in its underground gas storage facilities, which is 25 % more than during the same period in 2018.

The company reminded that Ukraine had not imported gas for its needs from Russia for four years in a row. During this period, gas volumes came exclusively from the EU countries.
