Grant agreements under Cross-border Cooperation Program signed in Zakarpattia region

At the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, grant agreements were signed as part of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Cross-border Cooperation Program, the administration’s press service reported.

"On August 29, at the regional state administration, a meeting was held and grant agreements were signed as part of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Cross-border Cooperation Program," reads the report.

It is noted that the Cross-border Cooperation Program HUSKROUA (Hungary - Slovakia - Romania - Ukraine) completed its 2007-2013 period. During this time, more than 80 projects worth about EUR 26 million were implemented.

“In 2017, two project competitions were held for the new HUSKROUA Program 2014-2020. As a result, four major infrastructure projects will be implemented in Zakarpattia region, which will be funded by the European Union. The projects include the repair of a cross-border road and the construction of a waste recycling plant,” Head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration Ihor Bondarenko said.
