Govnt allocates additional over UAH 2 bln for road development

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at a meeting on August 14 decided to allocate more than UAH 2 billion for the development of national roads, Ukraine’s State Agency of Automobile Roads (Ukravtodor) has reported.

“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated the remaining balance of the State Agency of Automobile Roads (Ukravtodor) in the amount of UAH 1.920 billion and unused expenses of 2019 in the amount of UAH 94.142 million for the development of national roads. The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Wednesday,” the report says.

Earlier, Ukravtodor Acting Head Slawomir Nowak said that Ukraine needed at least UAH 300 billion for the repair of 24,000 km of major highways.
