NBU issues licenses to two non-banking financial institutions

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has issued licenses to two non-banking financial institutions – FK Liberti Finans Ltd and Obminochka Ltd, the NBU's press service has reported.

"On August 6, 2019, the National Bank of Ukraine decided to issue licenses to two non-banking financial institutions. In particular, a license was issued to FK Liberti Finans Ltd to transfer funds in national currency without opening accounts. A license was issued to Obminochka Ltd to conduct foreign currency transactions (trade in foreign currency assets in cash)," the report reads.

FK Liberti Finans Ltd became the 64th market participant to get a license to transfer funds in national currency without opening accounts, whereas Obminochka Ltd became the 34th player in the foreign exchange market licensed to carry out foreign exchange transactions.
