Estonian bus operator may enter Ukrainian market

Baltic Shuttle bus operator may launch a route from Tallinn to Kyiv this summer.

"We are now waiting for approvals for the transit crossings of Latvia and Belarus. I hope that the new route [to Kyiv] will be launched this summer," The Baltic Shuttle board member Igor Pashchuk said in a commentary to the ERR portal.

The route will include cities Tallinn-Pärnu-Vilnius-Kyiv.

According to preliminary plans, the bus will run three times a week, from Tallinn to Kyiv.

One run will be serviced by the Baltic Shuttle, and another two — by foreign partners of the Estonian company.

The one-way ticket will cost EUR 55-60.

Currently, Ecolines and Temptrans operate the Tallinn-Kyiv bus route.
