Ukraine’s gas reserves increased by 2.16 bcm in June – Naftogaz

In June 2019, Ukraine increased gas reserves in underground gas storage facilities by 2.16 billion cubic meters.

As of July 1, they reached 13.54 billion cubic meters, the press service of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine reported.

"Ukraine continues to accumulate gas in underground gas storage facilities to go through the next heating season. In June, gas volumes in underground storage facilities increased by 2.16 billion cubic meters. As of July 1, they amounted to 13.54 billion cubic meters, which is 2.36 billion cubic meters more compared to the relevant period last year," the report says.

As reported, Ukraine plans to accumulate about 20 billion cubic meters of gas to ensure the stable heating season of 2019-2020.
