Ukraine developing new regional development strategy until 2027 — Zubko

The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine is developing a new state strategy for regional development until 2027.

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko informed this on his Facebook page.

"The rapid development of regions requires breakthrough solutions! The regional development strategy until 2027 will be focused on such solutions. A team of the Regional Development Ministry, experts and scientists are working on this. We do not need yet another document. We need a result-oriented document, which focuses on the development of human potential," he wrote.

According to the minister, the key principles of the strategy include the course of Ukraine towards the EU and NATO, decentralization; smart specialization and digital tools for regional development; infrastructure development; focus on the development of small and medium businesses; interregional and cross-border cooperation; and strengthening of human resources.
