Ukraine signs agreement with UAE on construction of Expo 2020 Dubai pavilion
Ukraine has signed an agreement with the UAE on the construction of an exhibition pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine reports.
"On May 28, with the participation of the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Commissioner General of Ukraine at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai, Stepan Kubiv, an agreement was signed between EXPO 2020 SE and ASGC Construction LLC (UAE) on the construction of the exhibition pavilion of Ukraine in Dubai," reads the statement.
ASGC Construction LLC won the open tender for the procurement of activities on the construction of the national pavilion of Ukraine in the framework of the preparation and participation of Ukraine in the World Expo 2020 through the Ukrainian electronic procurement system Prozorro, the Government portal reports.
Under the terms of the tender, ASGC Construction LLC will have to build a Ukrainian pavilion with the provision of all necessary communications (electricity, water supply, etc.), as well as equipping the adjoining territory in accordance with the requirements of the Expo 2020 Organizing Committee.
The company is the general developer of national pavilions within the framework of the World Expo 2020 of countries such as the Republic of Azerbaijan and Australia, a subcontractor for the construction of the pavilion of Germany.
ASGC Construction LLC provides a full range of architectural, consulting, supply and other construction-related services.
