NSDC to develop new program of cooperation with IMF - Danyliuk
The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine will actively cooperate with the International Monetary Fund and plans to draw up a new program of cooperation with the IMF by the end of the summer, which will promote Ukraine's development.
Newly appointed Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Danyliuk stated this at a press conference on Tuesday evening, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"We have agreed that we will now actively cooperate with the IMF and other international institutions so that during this summer, during the election we can get ready for the development a new program that will provide an additional impetus for the development of our country," Danyliuk said.
Speaking about his meeting with the IMF mission, Danyliuk said that he had presented his vision of the country's development.
"We presented our agenda, as we see the development of the country, our cooperation. Our positions fully coincide that the first steps include a decision aimed at combating corruption, restarting judicial reform, reforming the law enforcement system," Danyliuk said.
As reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Oleksandr Danyliuk as secretary of the National Security and Defense Council on May 28.
