Ukrainians register 25,300 new passenger cars in January-April 2019

In January-April 2019, 25,300 new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 3% less than in the relevant period of the last year, according to the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association, UkrAutoProm.

In particular, Ukrainians registered 6,900 new cars in April and 7,300 new cars in March.

It is noted that RENAULT cars were the most popular in April. Its share in the market of new passenger cars grew by 65%, to 1,114.

The second in terms of sales was Japan’s Toyota, with 963 cars sold, an increase of 13%.

KIA ranked third. It sold 638 cars in April and thus increased its sales almost twofold compared with April 2018.

The fourth position took SKODA and the fifth was Nissan.

As Ukrinform reported, 81,800 new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine in 2018.
