Ukraine increases exports of goods– Economic Development Ministry

Ukraine’s exports of goods amounted to more than $4 billion in January 2019, which is 9.2% more compared with the corresponding month last year, the press service of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry wrote on Twitter.

"In January 2019, exports of Ukrainian goods amounted to over $4 billion, up 9.2% compared with January 2018. The positive balance was $ 20.9 million," the report says.

As reported, Ukrainian exported goods and services for a total sum of $ 57.1 billion in 2018, which is 8.6% or $4.5 billion more compared with 2017.

The European Union is Ukraine’s largest trading partner, accounting for 41.1% of Ukraine’s total turnover of goods and services in 2018.

Among other important Ukraine’s trade partners are China, the USA and Turkey. Their share accounted for 8.4%, 4.4% and 3.9% of foreign trade turnover, respectively.
