Seven large foreign companies announced about investments totaling $1.1 billion in the economy of Ukraine in 2018, according to the report of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2018.

"Seven global companies announced about investments totaling $1.1 billion: Scatec Solar (Norway) - $315 million in solar power plants with a capacity of 251 MW in Cherkasy and Mykolaiv regions, Horizon Capital (USA) - $ 200 million, NBT (Norway ) - $173 million in the first phase (125 MW) of wind power plant in Kherson region, etc.,” says the report posted on the Government portal

According to Ukraine Investment Promotion Office, the investment portfolio of potential investors at the end of 2018 reached $2.8 billion. Among potential investors are over 10 global companies such as IKEA (Sweden), Skoda (Czech Republic), GE Power (USA), Wizz Air (Hungary).
