Kyiv International Airport sees almost 42% rise in passenger flow in February 2019

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) serviced 185.2 thousand passengers in February 2019, which is 41.7% more compared with the same period last year, the airport’s press service wrote on Facebook.

The number of passengers serviced on international flights totaled 180 thousand, domestic flights – 5.2 thousand.

The number of flights in February 2019 included 2,007 both arrivals and departures, which is 21.8% more compared with the same period in 2018 (of which, there were 1,680 international flights and 327 domestic flights).

The most popular international directions in February 2019 were Sharm el-Sheik (Egypt), Warsaw (Poland), Minsk (Belarus), Ankara (Turkey), Vienna (Austria), Berlin (Germany), and Budapest (Hungary). Among domestic flights, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Lviv were in lead.
