Almost half of Ukraine’s exports go to EU - Poroshenko

President Petro Poroshenko has stated that almost half of Ukraine’s exports are delivered to the countries of the European Union.

“Now, 42.6% of Ukraine’s exports mean the European Union. I’m sure that it will grow to 50% soon,” he stated at a meeting of the Regional Development Council in Odesa, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

He noted that the war negatively affected the economy of Ukraine: "Because of the war we have lost almost a quarter of industrial potential of the state," said Poroshenko.

At the same time, he assured that Ukraine survived and found an alternative in the markets of the European Union.
