NBU revokes First Ukrainian Payment System’s license for money transfers

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has revoked a license held by First Ukrainian Payment System LLC for money transfers in domestic currency without opening accounts, according to the central bank’s press service.

“On February 25, 2019, the National Bank of Ukraine withdrew a license, dated April 22, 2015 No.17/1, held by First Ukrainian Payment System LLC for money transfers in national currency without opening accounts of currency transactions," reads the statement.

The National Bank noted that the corresponding decision was taken after receiving a request from the company to revoke the license due to an independent decision to terminate activities on money transfers.
