Ukraine, Norway to cooperate in renewable energy, agricultural production and IT

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman discussed with Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg the prospects for attraction of Norwegian investments in Ukraine and the joint opposition to the Kremlin's aggression.

"We are talking about practical issues of cooperation - the strengthening of the presence of Norwegian business in Ukraine and the development of political dialogue, especially in the context of joint opposition to external hybrid threats," Head of the Government of Ukraine, who is on a visit to Norway, posted on Twitter.

Groysman also informed that the participants in the meeting had underscored the need for mobilization of all the members of the Euro-Atlantic community in face of the obvious intentions of the Kremlin to aggravate the situation in Donbas and in the Sea of Azov, as later, the Ukrainian PM noted, Russia could use this "experience" in other parts of the world, for example, in the Baltic region.

A separate topic of the negotiations was the enhancement of investment cooperation between Ukraine and Norway. "The areas of mutual interest are renewable energy, agricultural production, IT, environmental protection," Groysman stressed.
