Ukrainian wine exports grew by 20% in 2018

In 2018, Ukrainian winemakers exported their products to the tune of over $38 million, up 20% compared with 2017.

“We exported wine and other products of winemaking to the tune of over $38 million, up 20% compared with 2017, although we still remain the net importers of these products (imports totaled USD 113.5 million in 2018)," Deputy Agrarian Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine Olha Trofimtseva posted on Facebook during her stay at the International Green Week exhibition in Berlin.

“Among the products of our agricultural sector, we were proud to present the products of our winemakers (Colonist, Shabo) at the International Green Week exhibition in Berlin. We are happy to see the positive dynamics of development of the viticulture and winemaking, in spite of the temporary occupation of Crimea and other challenges,” the deputy minister emphasized.
