Omelyan expects Ukraine’s part of transport corridor with EU to be completed within two years

Ukraine intends within the next two years to complete its section of a new transport corridor, which will unite the Black Sea ports with the countries of the European Union.

Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan stated this during the talk show Echo of Ukraine on the TV channel Priamyi.

"This year we will continue the construction of Go Highway, which will connect the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea. It is a completely new high-quality road, beginning from Gdansk and running through the territory of Poland. We hope that it will be ready within the next two years and we will manage to complete the construction. Il will be a new transport corridor," he said.

The minister noted that the new road will run through Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Vinnytsia and Odesa and will connect the Black Sea ports with the EU countries.
