Kherson region’s payments from income tax to budget grew by almost a quarter

In Kherson region, revenues from citizens’ personal income taxes transferred to the state and local budgets in 2018 grew by almost a quarter from the previous year.  

The press service of the Main Department of the State Fiscal Service in Kherson region, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol released this information on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"In 2018, tax payers in Kherson region paid more than UAH 3,572.3 million of personal income tax to the consolidated budget, which is UAH 634.3 million, or 22% more than in 2017," the press service reported.

Out of the reported sum, local budgets of the region received UAH 2,657.8 million, which is almost UAH 474 million more than in 2017. The state budget received UAH 914.5 million of personal income tax, which is UAH 160 million more than in the previous year.
