Ukraine consumed almost 520 mln cu m of gas over past week

As of January 1, 2019, the gas reserves in Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities amounted to 13.8 billion cubic meters. Ukraine consumed 519.2 million cubic meters of gas over the past week.

"The gas reserves in the Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities decreased by 519.2 million cubic meters over the past week. As of January 1, they totaled 13.8 billion cubic meters," the press service of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine reported.

As of January 1, 2018, the gas reserves in the underground gas storage facilities amounted to 14.7 billion cubic meters. And as of January 1, 2017, they totaled 11.9 billion cubic meters.

As reported, Ukraine started the heating season with the reserve of 17.2 billion cubic meters of gas.
