United territorial communities to receive UAH 2.1 bln for infrastructure development

The state budget for 2019 envisages UAH 2.1 billion for the development of high-quality infrastructure in united territorial communities, the press center of the Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Ministry has reported.

"Decentralization is one of the key reforms in Ukraine, which promoted the implementation of important changes in united communities. Next year the state subvention will amount to UAH 2.1 billion, which will be aimed at developing a high-quality modern infrastructure in united territorial communities,” the ministry cited Deputy Minister for Regional Development Lev Partskhaladze as saying.

As reported, on November 23, 2018, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported in the second reading bill No.9000 on the state budget for 2019. On December 7, the law was signed by President Petro Poroshenko. It will come into force on January 1, 2019.
