Economic Development Ministry appoints director of Export Promotion Office

The Economic Development and Trade Ministry has appointed Andriy Demchuk as Director of the state institution Export Promotion Office, the ministry’s press service reports.

"The Economic Development and Trade Ministry has appointed Andriy Demchuk as Director of the state institution Export Promotion Office. Andriy Demchuk worked as director of the investment attraction department at the Economic Development and Trade Ministry since April 2016. He has significant experience in the investment banking – he worked in a number of investment funds and banks in Switzerland since 2004. He holds Ph.D. in Economics and Finance, the University of Lausanne (Switzerland)," reads the report.

As reported, on March 28, 2018, the Ukrainian government decided to establish the state institution Export Promotion Office on the basis of the existing Export Promotion Office, which has the status of a consultative and advisory body under the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine, to facilitate Ukrainian exporters get access to foreign markets.
