Market of new passenger cars decreases by 4% in November - UkrAutoProm

In November 2018, 7.3 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 4% less than in the same period last year.

This data has been provided by the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association, UkrAutoProm.

“In November, the Ukrainian market of new passenger cars decreased by 4% compared with the last year. The number of registered passenger cars made up 7.3 thousand,” reads the report.

Renault was the first in the market, with 865 cars registered. Thus, the French brand improved its result by 15% from November 2017.

The second was Toyota, with 757 cars registered. Its share on the market of new passenger cars decreased by 10% from the last year’s results.

Nissan ranked third. It sold 687 cars in November 2018, which is two times more compared with November 2017.

The fourth position took KIA. It sold 621 cars in November 2018, recording a 29% rise from the previous year.

And the fifth in the top leaders was SKODA, with 570 cars sold. Its demand in Ukraine decreased by 7%.

The top 10 most popular cars in November also were Hyundai (438 cars; +4%); Volkswagen (387 cars; -34%); Mercedes-Benz (245 cars; -23%); Mazda (238 cars; -28%); Mitsubishi (205 cars; +18%).

As Ukrinform reported, in October 2018, 7,214 new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which was 6% less year-on-year.
