Subway to Vynohradar in Kyiv to be built within three years

The construction of the subway to the Vynohradar residential district in Kyiv is to be completed by 2021.

This is stipulated by the contract that was signed by Kyiv Metropoliten and the winner of the tender on the ProZorro public e-procurement system, PJSC Kyivmetrobud, for the extension of the Syretsko-Pecherska subway line, Kyiv Metropoliten's press service reported.

"According to the document, the work will last until 2021, and its budget is UAH 5.993 billion," the report says.

During the first stage of work at a section of almost four kilometers, it is planned to construct two subway stations – Mostytska and Prospekt Pravda - and a branch to the Vynohradar station for further extension of the subway line.

The registration of all documents envisaged by the legislation for the beginning of construction work is now underway. When preparing the draft contract, Kyiv City Council has already supported the allocation of technical land plots for the necessary construction sites.
