Kyiv International Airport sees a 56% rise passenger flow in January-October 2018

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) serviced 2.424 million passengers in January-October 2018, which is 56.3% more compared with the same period last year, the airport’s press service reports.

The number of passengers serviced on international flights totaled 2,351.2 thousand, domestic flights – 73 thousand.

The number of flights in January-October 2018 included 25,904 both arrivals and departures, which is 32.9% more compared with the same period in 2017 (of which, there were 21,878 international flights and 4,026 domestic flights).

The most popular international directions since the start of 2018 have been Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Sharm el-Sheik (Egypt), Dubai (UAE), Antalya (Tukey), Ankara (Turkey), Rome (Italy). Among domestic flights, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Lviv were in lead.

In October 2018, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport serviced 259.1 thousand passengers, which is 48.6% more compared with October 2017, the airport’s press service reports.

The number of passengers serviced on international flights in October 2018 totaled 251.6 thousand, domestic flights – 7.5 thousand.

The number of flights in October 2018 included 2,722 both arrivals and departures, which is 27.0% more compared with October 2017 (of which, there were 2,268 international flights and 454 domestic flights).

The most popular international directions in October 2018 were Sharm el-Sheik (Egypt), Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Dubai (UAE), Ankara (Turkey), Berlin (Germany), Frankfurt am Main in (Germany), Rome (Italy). Among domestic flights, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Lviv were in lead.
