Passenger traffic through Ukrainian airports grows by 24%

In January-September 2018, the passenger traffic through the airports of Ukraine grew by 23.9% compared with the same period last year and totaled almost 15.6 million people.

"During the first nine months of 2018, the passenger traffic through the airports of Ukraine grew by 23.9% and totaled almost 15.6 million people," the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reports.

As noted, there was a significant increase in the number of passengers served in the main airports of Ukraine in January-September 2018: Kyiv (Zhuliany) - by 57.3%, Lviv - 46.6%, Zaporizhzhia - 19%, Odesa - 19, 3%, Kharkiv - 18.1%, Boryspil - 17.6% and Dnipro - 7.4%.

In addition, a significant increase in passenger traffic was recorded in the airports of Chernivtsi (by 55.3%) and Kherson (by 51.1%).
