Kyiv-Boryspil express railway service to be launched until the end of November – Omelyan

Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan has said that the high-speed railway line connecting Kyiv's central train station with Boryspil International Airport will be launched until the end of November.

"The full functioning will begin until the end of November. Main works have already been completed, the issue of a pedestrian crossing from the railway station at the Boryspil airport to Terminal D has not been resolved yet," Omelyan told journalists as part of the visit of a delegation of 12 American companies to Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He added that the ministry is focused on the price of UAH 80 per ticket.

As Ukrinform reported, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman last week stated that the project of the high-speed railway line connecting Kyiv with Boryspil Airport costs UAH 580 million. The estimated travel time will be 35-40 minutes.
