Ukraine resumes gas transit via Slovakia after completion of repair works

Ukraine has resumed the transit of natural gas in previous volumes via the Slovak gas transit route after the completion of scheduled repair works.

This data has been provided by the Ukrainian gas transmission system operator PJSC Ukrtransgaz.

According to the company, the transit of natural gas on October 5 amounted to 13.450 million cubic meters, on October 6 - 614.971 million cubic meters, on October 7 - 39.044 million cubic meters.

In particular, on October 7, 23,590 million cubic meters of gas were transported via the Slovak gas transit route, 11,347 million cubic meters – via the Hungarian gas transit route, and 4,107 million cubic meters – via the Polish gas transit route.

As reported, Ukraine suspended natural gas imports via the Slovak gas transit route on October 2 due to scheduled maintenance works that lasted for five days.
