Ukrainian exports growing 19 quarters in a row – Kubiv

First Vice Prime Minister – Minister for Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv says that exports of Ukrainian goods have been growing for 19 quarters in a row.  

"Over the first eight months of 2018, Ukrainian manufacturers produced 2.2% more products than in the first eight months of 2017. Chemical production grew by 29.9%, automotive industry - by 17.2%. We have begun to export more, exports of Ukrainian goods have been growing 19 quarters in a row. During the first seven months of the current year, Ukrainian enterprises exported goods worth $ 26 billion," Kubiv said during Government Question Hour meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He stressed that even though the huge share of exports is made up of food products, Ukraine also increases exports of value-added products.
