Ukrainian infrastructure minister asks World Bank to give recommendations on attraction of investors to regional airports

Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan asks the World Bank to give Ukraine recommendations on attraction of foreign investors to the development of regional airports.

The minister made a relevant statement during a meeting with World Bank representative Karla Gonzalez, the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine reports.

In particular, Omelyan told about the Ukrainian government's vision for developing the network of regional airports and asked the World Bank to provide expert assistance in developing appropriate recommendations on attraction of foreign investors.

In turn, Karla Gonzalez praised the progress of Ukraine in reforming the road, maritime and aviation industries and confirmed the further support for the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine from the World Bank.

Omelyan also briefed on the main achievements in reforming the national transport sector, thanked the World Bank for expert assistance in the development and implementation of infrastructure reforms, in particular, concerning the road economy and development of the road network in Ukraine.
