Minister Chernysh: No risks for investments in Kherson region

Ukrainian Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Vadym Chernysh does not see any risks for investing in Kherson region.

"As of now, I do not see any risks for investing in Kherson region," the minister said during the Tavrian Horizons Forum in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

At the same time, he noted that the region faced a number of challenges, including the proximity to the occupied Crimea.

Chernysh praised the efforts of the local authorities in attracting foreign and domestic investors and implementing the investment projects.

In turn, Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Andriy Hordeyev announced the signing of memorandums on the implementation of investment projects to the tune of over USD 620 million.
