Vice PM Kubiv: Ukraine-EU trade turnover grows by 15.8%

Ukraine-EU trade turnover has grown by 15.8% after opening of the free trade area, while exports increased by 18.7% compared to the corresponding period last year.

 This was discussed at the meeting of First Vice Prime Minister, Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv with EU Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmström in Brussels, Ukraine’s Economic Development Ministry posted on Twitter.

"Kubiv at the meeting with Malmström: Ukraine-EU trade turnover after opening of the free trade area increases steadily. In January-July 2018, the volume of foreign trade in goods compared to the corresponding period in 2017 grew by 15.8%, exports increased by 18.7%," reads the report.
