Ukraine PM voices inflation forecast for 2019

Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers forecasts that inflation will not exceed 10% in 2019.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this at a forum of the Reanimation Package of Reforms "Full mobilization: a joint action plan," an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"It is very important for us to keep inflation below a double-digit figure, that is, below 10%. In principle, this is what we plan in the state budget for next year," Groysman said.

According to him, in addition, the budget deficit is to be reduced from 2.4% to 2.2%.

Groysman said that the government would submit the draft state budget for 2019 to parliament before September 15.
