Norway intends to invest EUR 300-400 mln in Ukraine’s renewable energy – Klimkin

Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said that some Norwegian companies intend to invest EUR 300-400 million in the construction of renewable energy facilities in Ukraine.

"We are starting the work with a number of Norwegian companies that come to build renewable energy facilities. This is a very serious resource worth EUR 300-400 in the context of solar energy, as well as in the context of hydraulic power industry," Klimkin said at the joint press conference with Foreign Minister of Norway Ine Eriksen Soreide, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In addition, he said he hopes that other Norwegian investors will also enter the Ukrainian market.

As reported, Foreign Minister of Norway Ine Eriksen Soreide is on a working visit to Ukraine on September 4-6.
