Revenues from taxes transferred to state budget grew by more than 17%

Revenues from taxes and customs payments transferred to the state budget over the first eight months of 2018 grew by 17.3% and 11% respectively compared with the same period last year.

This has been reported by the press service of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine

"In January-August 2018, UAH 470.6 billion of payments controlled by the State Fiscal Service was transferred to the general fund of the state budget, which is 14.4% or UAH 59.4 billion more compared with the corresponding period of the previous year,” reads the report.

It is noted that since the beginning of 2018, UAH 261.1 billion of tax payments have been sent to the general fund of the state budget, which is 17.3% or UAH 38.5 billion more than last year's figures.

Revenues of customs payments to the general fund of the state budget in January-August amounted to UAH 209.6 billion and exceeded last year's figures by 11% or UAH 20.9 billion.

In August, UAH 75.5 billion was transferred to the general fund of the state budget, which is by 12.2% or UAH 8.2 billion more than in August 2017.

Tax payments to the general fund of the state budget in August amounted to UAH 45.1 billion, having exceeded last year's figures by 8.6% or  UAH 3.6 billion.
