Govnt allocates UAH 729 mln to Kyiv for resumption of hot water supply – Klitschko

Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko has noted that after the government's decision to allocate UAH 729 million to heating supply companies in Kyiv to pay off the debts that arose as a result of the difference in tariffs, the citizens of Kyiv may get hot water in a week or two.

The mayor said this in a conversation with journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"This decision has been adopted at a government meeting. And we hope that in the next week or two, the people of Kyiv will get gas supply and, accordingly, hot water," Klitschko said.

He also said that after the government's decision the heating season would not be undermined in the city.
