Ukrainian exports to EU five times more that to Russia in H1 2018

In the first half of 2018, Ukraine exported goods and services to the EU countries worth USD 9.8 billion, which was five times more than to Russia.

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine reported this with reference to the State Statistical Service in response to Ukrinform's information request.

In particular, the exports of goods and services to Russia in the first half of the year amounted to USD 1.826 billion, and to the EU - USD 9.791 billion.

According to the State Statistical Service, Ukraine in the first half of 2018 imported goods and services from Russia worth USD 3.75 billion, and from the EU –USD 10.76 billion.

As for trade with the United States of America in January-June 2018, Ukraine exported goods and services worth USD 515 million to the U.S. and imported – USD 1.5 billion.

In total, in January-June 2018, Ukraine exported goods and services worth USD 23.3 billion, and imported - USD 26 billion dollars.
