Naftogaz to increase gas prices for industrial consumers by 4.6% from September

NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine will raise the price of natural gas for industrial consumers and other economic entities by 4.6% from September 1, 2018, the company’s press service reports.

“The proposed prices for natural gas from the company's resource have been differentiated depending on the volume of purchases, terms of payment and the state of previous settlements with Naftogaz. Depending on these indicators, Naftogaz proposes natural gas at the price of UAH 8,833.00 – 9,662.00 per 1,000 cubic meters (without VAT). Comparing with the prices in August 2018, the prices will be raised by 4.6% in September,” reads the report.

In particular, industrial consumers and other economic entities that are not subjects to the Regulations on the imposition of special duties on the subjects of the natural gas market in order to ensure the general interests in the process of functioning of the natural gas market and that purchase up to 50,000 cubic meters of natural gas, will receive natural gas at the price of UAH 11.594.40 per 1,000 cubic meters (including VAT).

Industrial consumers and other economic entities that purchase over 50,000 cubic meters of natural gas and have no debts to Naftogaz will receive gas: on a prepayment basis until the delivery period (calendar month) - at the price of UAH 10,599.60 per 1,000 cubic meters (including VAT), on a prepayment basis during or after the delivery period (calendar month) - at the price of UAH 11,594.40 per 1,000 cubic meters (including VAT).
