Trade turnover between Ukraine and China reached $7.7 bln in 2017 – Kubiv

The trade turnover between Ukraine and China amounted to $7.7 billion in 2017.

First Vice-Prime Minister - Minister for Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv wrote this on Facebook.

"China is a strategically important trading partner for Ukraine. Ukraine-China trade turnover totaled $ 7.7 billion in 2017. Thus, it is the second largest trading partner in the world and the first one among the countries of the Asia-Pacific region," Kubiv wrote.

He noted that according to the Export Strategy of Ukraine, China ranks second in the TOP-20 list of promising markets for the export of Ukrainian products.

Kubiv also said that Ukraine will participate in the International Import Expo in China's Shanghai in November 2018, which will boost trade with China and develop other fields of interaction.
