Groysman: Energy Efficiency Fund will provide better services at lower prices

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that the Energy Efficiency Fund ensures better heating services at lower prices.

He said this at a government meeting on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The Energy Efficiency Fund is an opportunity to consume less resource with better quality services, which means that bills will be lower in upgraded homes. The price of gas is very important, but it's also important how much we spend on the production of one gigacalorie of heat," Groysman said.

He noted that local authorities are responsible for the modernization of the heat supply sector.

"People should pay moderate prices for high-quality energy. More resources can be directed to heat production within those mechanisms that we launched," the prime minister said.

As reported, the Energy Efficiency Fund was officially registered as a state agency on July 25.
