Government simplifies access to infrastructure for telecom companies

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a decision to simplify access to infrastructure for telecommunications companies, as the current conditions for access to infrastructure objects are non-transparent and hamper the development of the telecommunications market in Ukraine.

This has been reported by the press service of the Economic Development Ministry.

"The corresponding decision simplifies the procedures for telecom equipment placement on electricity generation facilities, access to the infrastructure of transport objects, and also approves the rules for granting access to the infrastructure of construction objects," reads the report.

First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv said that simplifying access to telecommunication networks would allow telecom companies to expand broadband access to the Internet faster throughout Ukraine.
