Hungary gets certificates for export of pet food and foods of plant origin to Ukraine

Ukraine and Hungary have agreed on certificates for the export of ready-made pet food and foods of plant origin to Ukraine.

This is reported by Ukraine's State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

"The State Food Safety Service and the competent agency of Hungary agreed on veterinary certificates for the export of ready-made pet food and foods of plant origin to Ukraine," the report reads.

As Ukrinform reported, in April 2018, Ukraine banned the import from Hungary animals favorable to African swine fever virus (ASFV), their products, raw materials, animal reproductive materials and fodder,

Animal feed is one of the priority directions for Hungary’s export to Ukraine. In 2017, Hungary exported corn, animal feed, live poultry, vegetables, sunflower seeds to Ukraine.

Today, Hungary delivers to Ukraine, in particular, cat and dog food - Cat Chow, Dax, Reno, Fincsi, Chappi, etc.
