Ambassador Dumont, French businessmen discuss prospects of attracting investments in Mariupol – city council

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont and French businessmen discussed the prospects for attracting investments in Mariupol with local businessmen.

"A round table on the French experience of doing business in Ukraine was held in Mariupol. The delegation led by French Ambassador to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont, Mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boichenko, representatives of the French business and local entrepreneurs discussed the prospects for economic cooperation and attraction of investments in the development of Mariupol," the press service of Mariupol City Council reported on Wednesday.

The ambassador said that the French side was ready to cooperate with the city. "Mariupol has become a symbol of Ukraine, we see huge opportunities of the city ... Our visit to Mariupol will be a possible impetus for French companies to cooperate with the city," she said.

Isabelle Dumont promised to return to Mariupol and bring specific investors who would cooperate with the city.

During the round table, the entrepreneurs proposed options for cooperation, ideas for expanding business and building partnerships.
