Denmark allocates EUR 72 mln to support human rights and sustainable economic development in Ukraine

Denmark allocates DKK 530 million (about EUR 72million) to good governance and human rights and sustainable economic growth in Ukraine over the next five years.

This is said in the opinion by Prime Minister of Denmark Lars Lokke Rasmussen and Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, published on EU Observer on the eve of the Ukraine Reform Conference to be held on June 27 in Copenhagen.

“Denmark is donating 530 million Danish kroner (€72m) to good governance and human rights and sustainable economic growth in Ukraine over the next five years,” the article reads.

It is underscored that the Danish-led EU anti-corruption programme in Ukraine stands ready to provide support.

As noted, we all need to react when faced with challenges to this international framework, violations of a state's territorial integrity and obstruction of its free choice of alliance.
