Ukrainian exports to the UK grow by $25.7 million – Economic Development and Trade Ministry

For four months of 2018, the exports of Ukrainian goods to the UK increased by $25.7 million compared to the same period of last year and amounted to $186.7 million.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.

"The exports of goods to the UK for four months of 2018 amounted to $186.7 million and increased by $25.7 million compared to the same period of last year. The exports from Ukraine to the UK include 204 sub-items (new ones), this is additional $9.4 million of exports of goods," the report reads.

On June 25, Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine – Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska began her working visit to the Great Britain.

"In London, she intends to meet with representatives of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Department for International Trade of the United Kingdom in order to determine the prospects for expanding the access of Ukrainian goods and services to the British market. In accordance with the Export Strategy of Ukraine, the UK is a market in focus for Ukrainian exports," the report says.

On June 26-27, Ukraine will be represented for the first time in the international business event SheTrades Global in Liverpool. The event will be attended by Mykolska together with the Ukrainian delegation of women entrepreneurs and exporters.
